I teach graphic design the way I practiced it for seven years: from research and sketching to a finished, printed piece. Students learn to make decisions they can defend in critique, and to build files a printer can trust.

Creative Thinking (undergraduate level): guided undergraduate students in developing creative thinking, critical analysis, problem-solving, and time management skills through project-based learning. Introduced brainstorming techniques, design thinking, concept development, and strategic planning to strengthen students’ ability to generate and communicate original ideas. Emphasized project organization, prioritization, deadline management, collaboration, and independent decision-making. Facilitated classroom discussions, creative exercises, presentations, and constructive critiques to encourage innovation, self-confidence, and professional development.
ART 465 Letterpress (Spring and Fall 2024): press demonstrations, supervised press time, and help with color separation, mirrored plates and registration.
ART 310 Electronic Media and Methods (Spring 2023): studio support and one-to-one critique.
Letterpress workshops (2024): tutor and facilitator for visiting high school students and high school teachers, with wood type and screen printing. See the workshops.
